MEMORY REGENERATION: Linking back to the past 3 years
Memory Regeneration began from noticing how easily certain memories fade— the emotional states and versions of self attached to them. Over three years (20.06.2020 – 19.04.2023), I documented 71 short videos and sound recordings, each tied to a specific moment or inner state.
These were translated into 71 drawings, distilled into eight graphic forms, and finally reinterpreted back into sound. The process forms a loop between image, sound, and memory—a visual cue for reconnecting with past moments and the selves that once inhabited them.
