MEMORY REGENERATION: Linking back to the past 3 years

Skills: Archival Media Curation, Audio-Visual Translation
Format: Audio-Visual Memory Archive (Drawings, Sound, Moving Image)
Year: 2023

As time passed and memories faded, I found myself forgetting not just events but the emotions and versions of myself that lived within them. This project began as a quiet response to that forgetfulness, a way to stay connected to what I had been.

The work gathers 71 videos and sounds collected over three years (20.06.2020 – 19.04.2023), each tied to a specific moment or feeling. These were decoded into 71 drawings, then distilled into eight graphic forms and translated back into sound—forming a loop of memory through image and audio.

While reconstructing the past, the project attempts to hold onto its emotional weight. These fragments remain as quiet reminders—artifacts of things that may have slipped away, but were never truly lost.
